There is wonderful trail that follows the Little Garlic River to this section of falls that spill gently into this pool at the base of a rock wall. I’m a fan of the orange lichen that clings to rocks along the local rivers and lakes, so I wanted to capture that color along with the tunnel-like perspective as the river cuts through the forest here. The Little Garlic River is located north of Marquette, MI off 553 and is just one of many sites to see in the area. This is a linocut reduction print on Somerset Satin paper.
